Catching up with insolvency across EU member states
These have been tough years for the European businesses. Uncertainty is constant in an over-changing reality: a pandemic, international conflicts, high inflation, and supply chain breaks are some of the factors that have led to a paradigm shift.
The global economy is in a complex juncture that consequently affects the management and turnover of the companies also insolvency practitioners (IP) have to deal with. The time has come to ensure that the efficiency and effectiveness of legislative proposals correspond the real needs of the businesses.
EIP Association seeks, through this section, to keep all the players involved in the business to be informed of the latest developments in relation to the insolvency sector. Numerous measures have been implemented and promoted by the European Union so far. In this context, the harmonization of insolvency legislation shall be placed at the top of the European Union’s priorities, however considering the individual needs of the member states, with a due focus on smaller or different economies as well.
